More than 40 murders,150 rape cases, and 183 kidnappings have been registered in Himachal in just 6 months: BJP

BJP Himachal Pradesh under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur and BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal submitted a memorandum from Himachal Pradesh to Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla.

Through the memorandum, the Bharatiya Janata Party Himachal Pradesh took a dig at the present Congress government regarding the Manohar Chamba murder case and the ongoing law and order situation in the state.

Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur and BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that a young man named Manohar Lal, whose age is approx. Wants to draw your kind attention to the brutal murder of 25-year-old Thi. According to the information of the people of the village, a young man named Manohar left the house at 7:00 am on June 6, 2023, but when he did not return home in the evening, the family members got suspicious and lodged a report with the Kihar police station. After that, the family members along with the police and the villagers started searching for Manohar and on June 8, 2023, Manohar’s dead body was found in a mutilated condition in a sack in a drain some distance away from the village.

Respected Sir, Manohar’s body was cut into 8 pieces and hence this brutal murder cannot be seen as a mere murder as such inhuman incident has not been seen or heard before in Himachal Pradesh. This sensational murder case has shocked the entire Himachal Pradesh and all the people of Himachal Pradesh. Honorable Sir, the important issue is that the family arrested in this brutal murder belongs to a particular community. The Bharatiya Janata Party believes that the background of the accused who has been told behind the incident has already been questionable and his family has been involved in criminal incidents. According to the information received from the people of the village, this Bahubali has illegally occupied many bighas of government land for many years. Even before this incident in this area, there have been reports of disappearance of many sheep herders and sparrows from time to time. After this incident, an atmosphere of peace has prevailed in Chamba district as well as in the entire state.

Rajeev Bindal said that therefore Bharatiya Janata Party demands through this memorandum that :-

1. All the accused should be investigated through the National Investigation Agency (NIA) so that the correct information about the suspicious activities of this family can be obtained.

2. There should be a daily hearing against the accused of this massacre through the fast track court and the accused should be hanged as soon as possible.

3. The pasture permit on the high hills of the district should be examined and its allotment should be done again.

4. People of specific communities coming from outside states in Himachal Pradesh, who are doing various types of small and big business, their verification should be done as per rules, because information is often received that Bangladeshi/Rohingyas are settling in Himachal Pradesh at various places. have been

In Nalagarh, due to the negligence of the police, a person dies in the police custody, due to which there is a lot of anger in the public. In Sirmaur, the police attack the youths while walking on the road, the eardrum of the youth bursts and neither the government, nor the administration, no one even pays attention to this incident. With frequent unclaimed dead bodies being found in Shimla, it seems that there is no such thing as law and order in Himachal Pradesh. In just six months of the Congress government in the state, more than 40 murders, more than 150 rape cases and 183 kidnapping cases have been registered.

Honorable Sir, Himachal Pradesh, which is known as Devbhoomi, is famous all over the world for its law and order, peace-loving and decency, but the image of Himachal has been tarnished by the said brutal massacre. Therefore, the Bharatiya Janata Party, through this memorandum, respectfully demands from you that taking strict cognizance of the deteriorating law and order situation in Himachal Pradesh, the investigation of this murder case should be done by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) so that the truth of this matter can come in front of the public and May the accused be punished severely.
