More rain-snow, Himachal under grip of coldwave
Rain and Snowfall paralyzed normal life on Thursday as cold wave intensified in most places in Himachal Pradesh confining people to fireplaces and inside their home.
Indian Metalogical Department confirmed that moderate rainfall is continue in the most part of the state with moderate moreover high reaches snowing in the Chamba , Shimla , Kinnaur , Kullu , Mandi , Sirmaur , Kangra , Solan and Lahaul – Spiti at many places.

Vehicular traffic was disrupted partly between Dhali to Kufri and Narkanda due to mounting of one to two inch layer of snow on the road.
A 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 was issued just by district administration Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti that Manali-Attal Tunnel -Sisu road closed for vehicular traffic a hour ago after mounting of one feet thick layer of snow on the Rohtang Tunnel approach road at Dhundi near Tourist resort Manali.
“Manali-ATR road was closed due to snowfall as it was snowing continuously currently there is about one feet snow on the road and no vehicles are being permitted” an advisory posted on Facebook wall of LS Administration warned.

An incident of landslide had occurred on Wednesday at around 1739hrs on Sansari Killar Thirot Tandi Road approx 1 km from Tand on Pangi road.
A Police officer confirmed today that around 24 passengers stranded in two vehicles on this affected road were evacuated after clearing road last night safely.
