Former Union Minister and MP from Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, describing the inauguration of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Sandhol of Dharmpur Assembly of Hamirpur Parliamentary Constituency as another gift given by the Modi government to Himachal Pradesh, congratulated the students for this and expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.
Mr. Anurag Singh Thakur said, “Respected Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has never left any stone unturned in giving gifts to Himachal Pradesh. It is a matter of joy that today the inauguration of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Sandhol of Dharmpur Assembly of my Hamirpur Parliamentary Constituency is a milestone towards the bright future of the students. Earlier, I had laid the foundation stone for the construction of the permanent building of KV Sandhol on 20-06-2022 along with the Honorable Education Minister of the Government of India, Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan and got Rs 2644.11 lakh sanctioned for the construction of A type building of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sandhol. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sandhol is giving quality results in class 10 and 12 every year. Good education is the first step towards nation building. Quality education in students proves to be helpful in making them a better citizen. I have always been striving to provide good education to the students in my Hamirpur Parliamentary Constituency, and it is a matter of joy that the grand inauguration of KV Sandhol has been done by the honorable Education Minister. For this, I express my gratitude to the respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Education Minister Honorable Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.
Speaking further, Mr. Anurag Singh Thakur said, “All our youth have to come together and make India a developed nation by 2047 as per the call of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Last year, the respected Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi had given the gift of 2 Kendriya Vidyalayas in Nadaun and Sloh in Hamirpur Lok Sabha of Himachal Pradesh. The Prime Minister inaugurated these new buildings built at a cost of about 38 crores and dedicated them to the general public. Kendriya Vidyalaya Nadaun was started in 1996, but it has been given its own building after 28 years by the Modi government. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the respected Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi for this. We are also building a Central University at Dehra, just 1 hour away from Nadaun, at a cost of 500 crores. Now the children of our area can study in the Central University by studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya at their home. There are a total of 6 Kendriya Vidyalayas in Hamirpur, including Nadaun and Sloh, Naleti, Ghumarwin, Bangana, Dharampur and Sandhol. Kendriya Vidyalayas have been established. Similarly, we have established Hamirpur NIT and Triple IT in Sloh. Earlier, we did not have medical colleges. I raised your voice and got a medical college built in Hamirpur and AIIMS in Bilaspur. Apart from this, many ITIs have also been built. I want our young friends to get good education and move forward.”
On this occasion, BJP State President Dr Rajiv Bindal, Vice President Sanjeev Katwal, General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma, Spokesperson Ajay Rana, MLA Deep Raj, Vinod Kumar, Dilip Thakur, Prakash Rana also thanked the central leadership.
