MLA Kuldeep Rathore took a meeting of officers, took stock of the situation

MLA Kuldeep Rathore took stock of the entire situation in a meeting with the departmental officials at Theog regarding the damage caused in the assembly constituency and rescue operations due to torrential rains since last 48 hours and also gave necessary guidelines. During this, while addressing the journalists, Kuldeep Rathore said that due to continuous rains, a terrible situation has arisen in the entire state and if we talk about the assembly constituency, then 8 people have lost their lives here! Said that many roads have been washed away and there has been heavy damage to houses and gardens. He told that there are 118 roads in the area, out of which about 49 are lying closed while the rest of the roads have been opened. He said that the loss of roads in the Vidhansabha constituency has been estimated to be around 1 crore 27 lakhs, which may increase even further, while the loss of the National Highway is estimated to be 6 crores! He said that 90% power supply in the area has been restored while the rest will be restored soon. He said that all the departments are working together, keeping a close watch on the situation. He said that a similar meeting has been held in Kumarsain as well. Full assessment will be done and appropriate steps will be taken. During this, officers of all the departments of the area were present.

SDM Theog Surendra Mohan, DSP Theog, EX.en PWD NH, Exen Electricity Department, Tehsildar, DFO, BMO, all other officers were present in this meeting.

There is full hope from the central government, the center will compensate for the loss

Kuldeep Rathore said that due to continuous torrential rains for the last 48 hours, there is an atmosphere of devastation in the entire state and in such a situation, the state government is struggling to make up for the loss according to its resources. He said that in such a critical situation, the central government is fully expected to compensate for the loss. He said that BJP of the state is the MP of the Bharatiya Janata Party as well as the national president and they will also be urged to provide financial assistance to the central government!
