Mixed response over PM visit to Shimla

Mixed response were seen among people over Prime Minister Narendra Modi Shimla visit in celebration of 8 yrs in power as he was given spectulre welcome during his road show and Youth Congress activists also stage protest against not fulfilling Election promise made by PM in previous rally. Mr Modi doning white Kurta and Churdhar Pajama came out of his cavelcade and participed in roadshow. PM did not stop at Coffee house where he took sip of coffee in earlier rally but he came down of his vehicle to have a portrait of her mother from a budding young artist. Mr. Modi took selfi with the artist and thanks her. Latter he rushed to Annadale Ground without taking halt and returned to National capital region. Youth Congress President Nigam Bhandari organised a Dharna in the town with party activists carrying umbrellas in the hand alleging that Prime Minister did not made any announcement of number of Election promise made to state previously. After the rally CPI(M) party secteriat member and former Mayor Sanjay Chauhan said that farmers and apple growers were disappointed from him the way he didn’t announced 100 pc import duty on the apple crops and MSP being promise by the party in Lok Sabha and Assembly Election previously on other crops like milk, honey and vegitable. The rulling party which was expecting 30000 crowd was disappointed as only 15000 chairs were occupied in the rally. Town got deserted lock after the rally as local people and Tourist avoided the heavily bericard public places.Massive arrangements of made in the town as 6000 police personnel were deployed every nook and corner in Shimla town.
