Minister from Kasauli in trap of triangular contest

Health Minister and three times BJP MLA from Kasouli Assembly constituency of Solan district appears to be in the trap of triangular contest in this election as former party rebel or AAP candidate Harmail Dhiman is in fray from and son of former MP KD Sultanpuri Mr Vinod Sultanapuri is lut in fray by BJP.. Till 2007 this Constituency was considered Congress bastion but infighting in congress party BJP candidate Rajiv Saijal won this seat. Cong  leader Raghu Raj who was undisputed leader of this constituency. He represented this constituency in 1982, 1985,1993,1998 and 2003. Dr Rajiv Saijal who is BAMS Doctor was retained this seat for BJP from 2007-2012,2012-2017 and 2017-2022. Who was in fray for his fourth terms. Initially BJP was hesitant or backing him up from here but it ultimately put him the fray again. He won by margin of 24 votes in 2012 and 424 votes in 2017. Party insider says that Harmail Dhiman who is parry rebel or one of contenders for party tickets since 2017 was fielded by AAP may trapping the Shaijal when margin of victory was very narrow. Thus BJP bastion which was with BJP since 2007 and  in 1990 that BJP candidate Satya Pal Kamboj won on BJP ticket may be any body games. Party made history when young Sahjal  defeated  congress heavyweight Raghu Raj in 2007 dome how retained it in 2012 as in 2017  Cong  Candidate Vinod Sultanpuri lost to Saijal. In this election Congress gave ticket to Vinod Sultanpuri, Son of former cong MP KD Sultanpuri this time too and  BJP  repose its trust in health and family welfare Minister Rajive Saijal. Despite remaining Minister Sahjal could not increased its holds in Constituency. The reserved SC Kasouli Assembly constituency have around 68739 voters including 35642 male voters and 33096 voters and one 3 rd gender. There are four urban entities and tourist places like Kasouli, Barog, Garkhal and Dagshai in the Constituency. Minister being in the power twice from 2007 -2012 and 2017 to 2022 couldn’t provide proper solid and liquid garbage disposal plants and collection center. Kasouli and Sabathu are Army cantonment and both are relatively cleaner and well managed. Local residents and rural areas are still cut off from the mainstream development being very scarcely connected. The Education, Health and unemployment and poor irrigation facilities required more emphasis. The constituent revealed that elected representatives are not connected with voters.
