Meritorious students honored at HD Public School, Janedghat

The annual festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at HD Public School, Janedghat, located near the tourist town of Chail. The festival showcased a wonderful blend of education and culture. This grand event not only symbolized the school’s achievements, but also the students’ multifaceted talents made the day unforgettable.
Ramveer (IAS), Secretary of the Punjab Mandi Board, attended the event as the chief guest. It’s worth noting that Ramveer is a former student of this school. His return to the school was a source of inspiration for all students, teachers, and parents. Hasan, the school’s principal, presided over the event, while Surendra Phogat (Director) and Jaipal were present as special guests.
Chief guest Ramveer honored students who excelled in various fields by presenting them with awards. In his address, he inspired students to cultivate dedication, discipline, and persistent effort. Recalling his school days, he said, “This land was the foundation of my flight.”
The students’ array of cultural programs, presented on a colorful stage set up in the school premises, captivated the audience. In particular, the presentations, highlighting the cultures of various states, offered a glimpse of India’s unity in diversity. The students’ melodious performances of dance, drama, and music enlivened the stage.
School Management Director Surendra Phogat, in his meaningful address, expressed his gratitude to all the parents, teachers and students and said that such programmes not only provide a platform to the students but also provide them with personality development, self-confidence and understanding of culture.
