Memorandum to Guv : HPCC seeks judicial probe into alleged murder of ex-panchayat Pardhan

Terming the Jai Ram and Modi Goverment anti-dalit, state unit of Congress party today sought a judicial probe into alleged murder of former Gram Pancnayat Pardahan of Kullu district succumbed to brutal injuries allegedly assaulted by the some BJP goons, died at PGI recently.
HPCC president Mr Kuldeep Singh Rathore, party former speaker and MLA Mr Gangu Rammusafir, former deputy speaker and Kinnuar MLA Mr Jagat Singh Negi  and other party leaders handed over a memorandum to Himachal Pradesh Governor Mr Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar seeking Judicial inquiry in the matter , here today.   The Morandum mentions that this was an incidence of murder of former Gram Panchayat Pardhan Mr Paras Ram which took place at Chharudu area of Seobag village of Kullu district recently.
Party drawing the attention Guv said that victim died in the alleged incidence of murder  occurred on Aug 25, 2021 at place Chharudu area . 
“The deceased former Pardhan and Ex-servicemen Paras Ram and his wife Smt. Youm Devi were allegedly assaulted by BJP workers, Ex-serviceman died of grievous injuries at PGI Chandigarh . “
” Soon after the assault deceased was rushed to Ner Chowk Medical College, Mandi from where he was referred to PGI.” memorandum said.
Seeking a free and fair probe, party said that victims hailed from Dalit families and accused to influential families having affiliation to ruling party may  hush up the matter after pressurizing victim’s wife.
Mr Rahtore also met with the victim’s Smt. Youm Devi in the Hospital recently who  apprehended that the case may be manipulated as the influential people are involved in the case and pressure is being created to withdraw the case or at least not to reveal names of people who were involved in the crime.
The victim’s wife also informed the party that the accused are under direct contact with CMO to cover up the crime, and forcing them to sign an  agreement to bail out the culprits under duress of power . 

HPCC said that since culprits belonged to ruling party want Judicial Inquiry which could bring  justice to the bereaved family and book the real culprit.
The deceased was only sole bread earner in family and is survived   by his two sons and wife Cong  party said demanding a government job should be provided to one member of the aggrieved family to support them financially.
