A medium intensity earthquake rocked nearby hills of
Dharmshala town of North Indian State of Himachal Pradesh at 1850 hrs on
Thursday, IMD press release confirmed.
A earthquake measuring 3.9 in richter scale rocked hills of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh on Thursday evening. .
A communique issued by the Indian Meteorological Department here claimed that epicentre of
earth quake was 51 km away from Dharmshala in Himachal Pradesh with latitude of 32.6733 North
and Longitude 76.23 East and depth of five km.
No losses of life and property reported in this earthquake so far.
