MCC ceases to operation from HP &  Gujarat.  ECI

After sucessful Assembly General Election in Himachal and Gujarat Election Commission of India lifted the Model code of conduct with immediate effect, Chief Electrol Officer Manish Garg said in a letter forward to Chief Secretary of both poll bound stste Member of Parliament and Assembly other Secretaries & Head of Department and semi-government organization including others informing them about the decision. He said that a letter was received from ECI on December 9 in which announcement of Election issued by it on October 14, 2022. Since results of all Vidhansabha seats are already announced on December 8 by all the returning officer therefore operation of MCC also ceased to operation in both the state with immediate effect.
