Many programs were organized on NSS Day at Chiyog School
National Service Scheme Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Government Senior Secondary School of Excellence, Chiyog, on Wednesday. All the volunteers registered with the school’s National Service Scheme unit participated enthusiastically and presented various programs on the occasion. Principal Sandeep Sharma presided over the program.
The program began with volunteers performing the NSS Goal Song, highlighting the importance of the National Service Scheme. Students also presented poetry recitations, speeches, and painting.
In his address, the Principal urged the volunteers to work selflessly for social and national service, with true devotion and dedication. He said that students must lead healthy lives by staying drug-free, only then can they truly contribute to society. The Principal rewarded the volunteers and the students who gave excellent performances with dictionaries, stationery, and mementos.
NSS in-charge and spokesperson Vijayalakshmi and spokesperson Rakesh Rawat expressed their gratitude to the entire school family for the successful organization of the program. Staff Secretary Harikrishna Shastri and Rakesh Thakur, along with all the school’s professors, teachers, other staff, and students were present.
