Man dies after hit by Himalayan Queen near Summer Hill

A man running beside Kalka Shimla Railway line near Summerhill station hit by a moving Himalayan Queen on the track this afternoon, died in the hospital, police officer confirmed.
A local resident of lower Fagli Mahesh Bhardwaj(49)was running the railway track around 1730brs o Saturday when he was hit by running Himalayan Queen train coming from Kalka to Shimla near Summerhill railway station.
 Railway Police took Mahesh Bhardwaj to the railway station by this Himalayan Queen train from where he was taken to IGMC Hospital Shimla for treatment in an ambulance number.
Police officer confirmed that   Mahesh Bhardwaj scummbed to injuries at IGMC this evening.
Body would be released to his family members tomorrow after the postmortem.
Further proceedings and case has been lodged at Railway Police Station Shimla into the mishap.
