State Mahila Congress took out a candle march here today in support of the agitating Women’s Wrestling Association and demanded the immediate arrest of the accused Braj Bhushan. She has criticized the Modi government at the Center for not listening to the voice of support of the women wrestling association sitting on dharna at Jantar Mantar for the last several days.
State Mahila Congress President Zainab Chandel said that the voices of daughters who have brought laurels to India at the international level are not being heard while their allegations are very serious. He alleged that the central government is trying to save Brij Bhushan and is avoiding any action on it. He said that the BJP’s slogan of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao has come before the country. He said that Congress will raise the voice of injustice done to these daughters.
