Mahi will learn the nuances of hockey in Sports Hostel Majra
Mahi Sharma, a class 10 student of Government Adarsh Senior Secondary School, Junga, has been selected on the basis of merit for Hockey Sports Hostel Majra District Sirmaur. This student had given the trial for hockey game for Sports Hostel on 2nd May 2024. The result of which has come out recently in which Mahi Sharma has been selected for Majra. Selection of Mahi Sharma is a matter of pride for Junga region. People say that it is a big achievement for this daughter living in a rural environment to be selected for the sports hostel.
Mahi Sharma is originally a resident of village Chakhad in Junga area. His father Bal Krishna and mother Seema belong to an ordinary farmer family. When Mahi was talked about this, she told that playing hockey has been her hobby since childhood. She wants to showcase her talent at the national and international level in hockey and will make her future in this game. Mahi Sharma has given the credit of her success to the school’s DEP Suman Chauhan and PET Rama Thakur and her parents.
