Losses due to the disaster in Himachal has been estimated to be around Rs 12000 crore: Pratibha

State Congress President and MP Pratibha Singh has said that all possible help is being provided to the families affected by natural disasters. She said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has set up a relief fund of Rs 4500 crore to help the disaster-affected people.
Today, while addressing a gathering of disaster-affected people in Jagar Panchayat of Mandi Sadar, Pratibha Singh said that the loss due to this disaster in the state has been estimated to be around Rs 12000 crore. She said that the BJP government at the Center has not given any exceptional help to the state, despite this the state government is providing full help to the affected people with its resources.
Expressing grief over the huge loss caused by the disaster in Jagar Panchayat, Pratibha Singh said that she also expressed her condolences to the bereaved families.
During this time, the District Congress President, former minister Prakash Chaudhary, Zilla Parishad member Champa Thakur, and many other party officials were present with her.
