Lions Club Shimla organized a Blood Donation Camp
Lions Club Shimla, in collaboration with the Red Cross Society, recently organized a Blood Donation Camp at Ridge Shimla, a noble initiative aimed at addressing the ongoing blood shortage. The event, inaugurated by the General Manager of Ropeway Corporation, witnessed enthusiastic participation from the residents of Shimla.
Under the efficient coordination of the Doctors and staff of DDU Shimla, a total of thirty-five units of blood were successfully collected during the camp. The Red Cross Society played a pivotal role in the event, with their Secretary and staff actively engaged in facilitating the donation process.
The Lions Club members played a significant role in ensuring the success of the camp. Led by President Lion Vikas Seth, Treasurer Lion Nitin Sood, Vice Presidents Lion ManMohan Verma and Lion Gopal Vaid, and PST Coordinator Lion R K Jishtu, along with the active involvement of Lion Ravi Sood, Lion Kapil Sood, Lion Mukul Sood, Lion P S Panwar, and Lion Amit Khera, the event saw remarkable support and participation from the community.
This collaborative effort not only contributed to addressing the critical need for blood but also exemplified the spirit of unity and compassion within the Shimla community.
