Lions Club Brings Warmth and Nourishment, organizes langar at Kamla Nehru Hospital

Chairperson Lion Manmohan Verma shared that Lions International continues its mission to fight hunger and ensure that every community member has access to nutritious food. By providing nourishment, support, and a sense of hope, the Lions Club plays an important role in strengthening the community and helping individuals overcome challenges.

President Lion Gopal Krishan Vaid added that, following their previous food-for-hunger initiatives—such as organizing langar—the Club held another meaningful service event at Kamla Nehru Hospital on 10th December, beginning at 12:30 PM. During this effort, 345 people—including patients, their attendants, and members of the general public—were served wholesome, nutritious meals.

The event saw active participation from several dedicated Lions members. Representing the Club were President Lion Gopal Vaid, Zone Chairperson Lion Manmohan Verma, Lion Naresh Lakhanpal, Lion Davinder Chauhan, Lion Anil, Lion Sanjiv, Lion K.C. Sharma, and the Lions Ladies, all of whom contributed wholeheartedly to serving the meals and spreading kindness.

Through initiatives like these, the Lions Club continues to demonstrate the power of compassion and community service.
