Light tremor rocks Kangra district
Slight tremor measured 2.80 rocked Manjwar Area of Kangra in Himachal Pradesh, ten kilometers away from district headquarter Dharmshala and 167 km from state capital, the spokesperson of state disaster Management authority confirmed. Sudesh Kumar Mokata said that Earthquake measured 2.80 on Richter scale hit Manjwar Area near Chamunda Devi shrine 10 km towards south east of Dharmshala at 4.58 am on Wednesday. The epicenter of the Earthquake was located at 32.12 North, 76.36 East and 19 km deep. It was felt slightly by some people, he added.
