Kufri Chail road will be improved with 52 crores

The Government of India has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 52 crore under CRIF to widen and pave the 25 km long road from tourist spot Kufri to Janedghat Chail. The approval letter has been issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India. This has been confirmed by Assistant Engineer PWD Sub Division Junga Devesh Thakur. The strengthening of this road will make the journey of tourists and locals from within the country and abroad comfortable. The condition of the road from Kufri to Janedghat Chail has become very pathetic. The road has turned into potholes due to which tourists from within the country and abroad reach their destination jolting in the potholes. Every year, lakhs of tourists reach Kufri, Shilonbagh and Chail through this road to enjoy the unique beauty of nature. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has sent a letter to MP Suresh Kashyap informing him about the approval of this road.
Various BJP workers including former president of Shimla District BJP Organization Prem Thakur and former president of Kasupanti BJP Mandal Jitendra Bhotka have expressed their gratitude to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and MP Suresh Kashyap. They said that all this has been possible due to the efforts of MP Suresh Kashyap who took personal interest and raised the matter with the Road Transport Department of the Government of India regarding this road.
