Kissan Sabha seek adequate compensation to fire affected

 Taking stock of the damage caused by the fire mishasp at Cheog Bazar near Fagu in Shimla district Himachal Pradesh Kissan Sabha president Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar sought adequate compensation to affected families. Dr Tanwar visited the fire affected shops this morning said government and administration  compensation being given for natural calamities like arson and hailstorm are like cumin in the mouth of a camel.

 Dr. Tanwar criticized the government’s for not providing enough compensation to affected families. He said that in the inflation era amount of compensation should be enhanced. Dr Tanwar raised demanded that compensation for damage caused by natural calamities, especially fire and hailstorm, the compensation should be fixed at the current market rate. Due to having only one fire post in 59 panchayats of the entire Theog constituency, facilities are not available in time, so a fire station should be established in Theog so that better facilities can be provided during such accidents. The water going from Giri to Shimla from this Phagu-Chiog catchment area should be the first right of the local people, and at least one MLD for this area.  (10 lakh liters per day) of water should be made available. Dr Tanwar has also appealed to the local people and public representatives to help the affected families, he added
