Kinnaur Administration postpones the Kinnaur Kailash Yatra
The continued Monsoon fury in Himachal Pradesh forced the Kinnuar district administration to postpone the Kinnaur Kailash Yatra schedule from August 1, 2023.
In a notification issued by the SDM Kalpa from Recong-peo peo today said that due to bad weather conditions the Kinner (Kinnaur) Kailash Yatra 2023 which was earlier planned from August 1 to August 15, 2023, to 15-08-2023 postponed to August 15 to September 1, 2023.
However, Administration also stated that this order could be reviewed depending on changing weather conditions.
It is worthwhile to mention that District Administration Shimla has also suspended Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra in view of the persistent rainfall condition on July 10. Shrikhand Mahadev’s yatra started on July 7, 2023.
