Kimta supported the statement of Shanta Kumar which said that BJP has completely deviated from its path

State Congress Organization General Secretary Rajneesh Kimta has said that BJP will have to achieve a clean sweep in the state elections. He has said that it is clear from the turmoil going on inside the BJP that there is a situation of explosion within it. The way Congress MLAs have been included in their party and declared their candidates, it has created a situation of rebellion within the party and the party leaders and workers are feeling humiliated.

Kimta said here today that former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur is unsuccessfully trying to pacify the rebel Congress MLAs by meeting former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal. Describing it as opportunistic, he said that the leader whom Jairam Thakur never even questioned during his tenure and kept him on the political margins is today bowing down at his doorstep.

Kimta has supported the statement of senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Shanta Kumar in which he said that the BJP has completely deviated from its path. He has said that the BJP, in its lust for power, is doing such acts that embarrass the politics of the country and the state. He has said that the BJP has insulted public opinion in the state and has played with the sentiments of the people by imposing by-elections in the state. He has said that the people of the state will never forgive BJP. He said that Congress will hoist its flag of victory in all four Lok Sabha seats as well as six assembly by-elections of the state and this time BJP will have to face a clean sweep like in the three by-elections including Mandi parliamentary constituency in the past.
