Keylong freezes at minus 5.7 C

Minimum temperature plummet by many degrees below normal as it was minus 5.7 Celsius at Keylong headquarter of Lahaul-Spiti district on Sunday. Indian Meterogical Department said in a forecast issued here today that minimum temperature was slide down to 5.7 degrees and 4.7 degrees below normal.In Kinnaur district Kalpa was minus 0.8 degrees and 2.5 degree below normal. Tourist resort Kufri 1.4, Hamirpur 5.4, Shimla and Una was at seven, Solan & Sundernagar(Mandi) four, Hamirpur 5.4, Mandi 5.7, Chanba 5.8, Kangra 7.5 , Bilaspur & Dharamshala, 8.5, tourist resort Dalhousie 6 and Kufri five degrees.A fresh Western Disturbance as a trough in mid tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level run  roughly.
