The pandemic has taken away the jobs of millions of people. The shortcomings of the health system have come to the fore during Covid. But even during this crisis, agriculture handled the country’s economy and contributed significantly to the GDP. But instead of encouraging the farmers, not only did the government make black laws against them, but due to the stubbornness of the central government, more than 700 farmers also lost their lives during the agitation. At the same time, the government has broken the back of the farmers by increasing the prices of fertilizers wildly.

Roads in the area have been built in violation of the Forest Conservation Act. In which government vehicles will not be able to run. At the same time, the arrangement of buses is also insufficient. There is a huge shortage of doctors, staff, technicians in health institutions. There is no technician in Junga Civil Hospital for 6 years. Test facility is not available. There is not a single ambulance in the entire Kasumpti area.
Dr. Tanwar said that there is a shortage of teachers in the schools but out of 24 schools coming under Kasumpti area, 20 schools do not have commerce and science subjects. He said that ITI is not functional due to non-inauguration of Science Lab.
Dr. Tanwar said that crores of liters of water comes to Shimla city from Kasumpti area but the people of the village are not getting water. On the contrary, the sewerage of the city is left untreated for the villages, due to which people’s sneezes are getting spoiled, water sources are getting contaminated and animals are also falling ill due to drinking dirty water.
He said that water mafia is also active in this area who take water from local sources and sell it in hotels.
Dr. Tanwar said that the tragedy is that the development of the region is being affected in the fight between the two main parties. He called upon the participants to rise above politics and fight for their development with the Kisan Sabha.
