Kangra got the first woman ambulance driver of the state, at the age of 22, Nancy took the steering of the ambulance

In today’s date, women are not behind men in any field and making sense of this, 22-year-old Nancy Katnauria of Hamirpur has taken over as an ambulance driver in Nurpur. Nancy is trained in Himachal Road Transport and will now serve as the first ambulance driver of the state in 102 Ambulance Nurpur.

Kangra’s Ambulance District In-charge Ishan Rana said that recently the Health Department has entrusted the operation of 108 and 102 ambulances running across the state to Medswan Institute of Bihar and the institute has invited new talent along with former employees to join the ambulance. Given the opportunity and under this, seeing Nancy’s hard work and dedication, she has been given joining on the post of driver. According to Nancy, she had a dream since childhood to become a skilled driver and serve the people of the state and today she is going to fulfill her dream by getting selected in an ambulance and is very excited. District in-charge Ishan Rana and top officials of Medswan Sanstha wished Nancy the best for her future and handed over the keys of the ambulance.

He said that Nancy has proved by making an ambulance driver that the daughters of the state are not less than men in any case. Earlier, we would often hear and see that the daughters of the state were ahead in the annual examinations of Himachal Pradesh School Education Board. Apart from this, daughters have also been ahead in other competitive examinations, but now the daughters of the state have started dominating in emergency health services as well.
