Kangra Airport on High Alert: Flights Canceled and Security Tightened

In the wake of ‘Operation Sindoor’, Kangra Airport has been placed on high alert. This means that every person and vehicle entering and exiting the airport is being thoroughly checked. As a result, all flights to and from Kangra Airport have been canceled, and security measures have been significantly increased.

Kangra Airport Director, Dhirendra Sharma, announced that the airport will remain closed until 12 PM on May 9. He emphasized that in case of any emergency, the Air Force might use the airport. No one is allowed to enter the airport during this period, and additional security personnel have been deployed to ensure safety.

For those affected by the flight cancellations, Sharma advised staying in touch with their respective airlines. The airline staff is actively working on refunding customers’ money and providing proper guidance to all passengers to minimize any inconvenience. The airport staff is committed to assisting travelers and ensuring a smooth process during this high-alert period.
