JUIT’s Nasha-Mukti Rally Promotes Drug-Free Living
On 28th September 2024, Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) organized the Nasha-Mukti Rally in Kandaghat to educate the community about the dangers of substance abuse and advocate for a drug-free lifestyle. The event began at 3:00 PM from Hospital Mod, with 50 enthusiastic participants, including NCC cadets, rank holders, ANO Lt. Praggya Gupta, and P.I. Jai Lal Thakur.
Participants passionately chanted slogans such as “नशे की राह छोड़ दो, जीवन में नया मोड़ दो” and “अपनी पहचान को सजाओ, नशे से खुद को बचाओ,” highlighting the importance of abandoning addiction for a healthier future. A Nukkad Natak (street play) performed by the Theatre and Music Club along with NCC members further stressed the significance of living drug-free and warned against substance abuse.
The rally aimed to foster community unity in the fight against addiction and support rehabilitation efforts. By emphasizing the social and personal impacts of drugs, the event effectively conveyed the message of building a healthier, drug-free society.
