Jubbarhati Airport to have flight after a decade

The Jubbarhati Airport on the outskirt of this capital town would resume air flights after gap of ten years as a private airlines to starts daily flights between Delhi and Shimla with effect from September 6, 2022. A press release issued by the Alliance airlines today said that  Delhi-Shimla-Delhi, would operate daily effective 6th September 2022. This flight would operate with our brand new ATR42. Flight  would  depart from Delhi at 0625 hrs and arrive in Shimla at 0735 hrs. Return Flight would depart from Shimla at 0800 hrs and arrive in Delhi at 0910 hrs. The introductory all inclusive Fares for Delhi-Shimla and Shimla-Delhi will be Rs 2480 per passenger . Spokesperson of Alliance airlines said that 

with the vision of Connecting New India, flight was launched  to offer better air connectivity between  Tier-two/ Tier-three towns with their closest city hubs. Shimla is the capital and the largest city of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla was 

built on top of seven hills: Inverarm Hill, Observatory Hill, Prospect Hill, Summer Hill, Bantony Hill, 

Elysium Hill and Jakhu Hill. The highest point in Shimla is the Jakhu hill, which is at a height of 2,454 

metres (8,051 ft). In recent times the city has spread past the initial seven hills. Enhanced connectivity will help bolster tourism and trade in the region and contribute to the economic 

development of the states. Alliance Air is humbled to contribute towards the honorable Prime Minister’s

There are only window or aisle seats in Alliance Air and  aircrafts have super comfortable leg space with seats, he added.
