JP Nadda met Nitin Gadkari regarding the interests of Himachal

BJP National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Mahajan was also present with him. On this occasion, Jagat Prakash Nadda said that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has given full assurance that the Central Government will not leave any stone unturned for Himachal Pradesh. Every road in the areas damaged by the tragedy will be repaired on war footing. The way the Union Minister has presented the vision of the Central Government regarding the technology of road construction, tunnels and bridges in Himachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh will definitely benefit greatly. The slow pace of development in the rural areas of Himachal Pradesh will now be accelerated. The Central Government has approved a material budget of Rs 201 crore in the first phase to the state under MNREGA. Now with this amount, the works of small and big works under MNREGA at the Panchayat level will be accelerated. He said that Himachal Pradesh is continuously receiving funds from the Central Government in NDRF and SDRF. Himachal Pradesh has received assistance of more than Rs 5000 crore.

Jagat Prakash Nadda said that if we talk about relief, the Government of India is always ready for this work, in terms of financial help, the Government of India stood with Himachal Pradesh earlier and will stand with it in future as well. Recalling 2023, the National President of BJP said that at that time there was a tragedy in Mandi and Kullu and I came to Himachal Pradesh three times, I remember that at that time we had provided relief of 3146 crores to Himachal Pradesh through the Central Government. Even now, for rehabilitation, the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released 2006 crores for Himachal Pradesh under NDRF, if we add this, then the total becomes 5152 crores. Talking from the economic point of view, in the form of help, the Central Government has given more than 1 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, more than 3000 crores of roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana to Himachal. Nadda said that the people of Himachal should be assured that the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will never abandon Himachal Pradesh and will always stand with it. And being a representative of the central government, I am saying it with responsibility that the Government of India is standing with Himachal and will continue to do so in the future too.
