JUIT Hosts HR Conclave 2025:Shaping Future-Ready Talent Through Industry-Academia Synergy
Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, hosted its highly
anticipated HR Conclave 2025 on May 2, 2025, bringing together a distinguished
cohort of HR leaders, corporate executives, and academic visionaries to discuss
the evolving landscape of human resources, campus hiring, and talent readiness
in the digital era. The event unfolded on May 2 at the JUIT Campus, marked by
insightful keynote sessions, power-packed panel discussions, and an enthusiastic
student-industry exchange.
The conclave began with a ceremonial lamp lighting graced by key dignitaries
including Mr. Narinder Ahluwalia (EVP, Covalience), Mr. Debashish Ghosh (Sr. VP,
Berkadia), Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma (Vice Chancellor, JUIT), Retd. Brig.
R.K. Sharma (Registrar and Dean of Students, JUIT), Retd. Brig. Sanjay Dawar (T &
P Head, JIIT), Prof. Ashok Kumar Gupta (Dean-Academics, JUIT), Prof. Sudhir
Kumar (Dean-Research and Internationalization, JUIT), Prof. Sunil Kumar Khah
(Dean-Accreditations, JUIT), Prof. Tiratha Raj Singh (Media In-charge, JUIT), Mr.
Sanjay Tewatiya (Assistant Registrar, Academics), Dr. Saurabh Bansal (Faculty In-
charge, T&P, JUIT), Mr. Pankaj Manta (T&P Coordinator, JUIT). All HoDs, Faculty
members and students joined this perceptive event. Prof. Hemant Sood
welcomed the guests as she was the master of the ceremony, emphasizing the
event’s role in enhancing academic-industry synergy.

Two keynote addresses were delivered by eminent experts. First Keynote Address
by Mr. Narinder Ahluwalia on “From Campus to Corporate: Equipping Freshers for
Employer Expectations” offered actionable insights on workplace readiness and
leadership, underpinned by his extensive experience in corporate coaching and
employee engagement. The second Keynote Address by Mr. Debashish Ghosh
delved into “Generative AI in Cyber Threats”, sparking a critical dialogue on the
intersection of HR, cybersecurity, and future technologies.
Mr. Narinder Ahluwalia specifically mentioned during his interaction with the
media that now JUIT is in pilot mode of its progression since Shri Manu Bhaskar
Gaur, CEO, JUIT has taken the charge. He mentioned that Manu ji’s vision will take
JUIT to its new heights. He also mentioned that faculty of JUIT are learned and
progressive people, many with excellent international exposures. Mr. Debashish
Ghosh through his message invited all HR Executives of India to visit JUIT and then
see personally how an excellent University is pursuing its excellence in Education,
Training and Infrastructure since last 23 years.
Two thought-Provoking Panel Discussions were featured where first Panel
Discussion was on “The Fresher’s Dilemma – Is Technical Expertise Enough?”,
moderated by Ms. Ravneet Malik (Netsmartz) where panelists were Ritu Sharma
(Brillio), Teevrta Kaul (Net Solutions), Anisha Raghav (Edifecs), Manisha Parmar
(KPMG), and Akash Deep Sharma (Ind-Swift Group). This session emphasized the
growing need for emotional intelligence, adaptability, and communication skills in
complementing technical capabilities.
Second Panel Discussion was on “Accelerating Career Readiness: The Power of
Internships & Practical Projects”, moderated by Ms. Rishika Verma Vohra where
panelists were Karishma Sharma (EY), Sanjeev Doshi (RCFL), Narendra Sharma
(NTPC), Madhuri Sankhyan (Paxcom), Jahanvi Singh (SEO Discovery), and Prof. R.K.
Sharma (VC, JUIT). The discussion underscored the impact of experiential learning
and urged institutions to embed real-world projects in academic curricula.
Throughout the day, participants engaged in vibrant dialogue, sharing best
practices in HR, talent acquisition, diversity, leadership, and the digital
transformation of workplaces. The sessions offered valuable strategies for
aligning student capabilities with evolving industry expectations. Mr. Pankaj
Manta, Training and Placement Cell Coordinator, JUIT played a crucial role in the
organization of this event. The event concluded by the felicitation of guests by
Vice Chancellor Prof. Sharma and with a vote of thanks by Prof. Sood.
