ITBP camp and two village in the line of massive forest fire 

A fire which reportedly spread due to garbage burning not only gutted thick oak forest near ITBP camp at Taradevi but along with camp two villages are in its line and area engulfed by smoke cloud.  Tehsildar Rural Sh. Sanjeev Gupta said that Forest fire has erupted in the forest of Tara Devi  currently spread in the stretch over 06 to 07 km area and slope is steep which prohibits the movement of fire tenders and thus the fire is tough to control. Fire Incharge Hukam Chand said that three Fire persons and one fire Tender were deployed on the spot. Beside this beat Gurad, CCF, DFO Rural and Conservator are also present on the spot.15 officials from forest are present on the site and divided into different groups to control the fire. As many as120 ITBP Jawans led by Asstt Commandant Sh. Anil PandeyNearby are assisting in fire control. Fire affected 280 population of Phyal village as 40-50 people are residing near to the spot of fire. Dhari village are away  from the incident site. Currently as many as 130 to 140 official are posted in theITBP Camp. Moreover prolonged dry spell three incidents of fire is reported in the periphery of Shimla town. Under Chotta Shimla fire station fire also broke out at Bhattakuffar or Chrat nala (11:10am) which was now doused.
