With an aim to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh and pass it on to the new generation, the “Kangra-Chamba Sanskriti Utsav-2025” presented by Event Guru Pvt. Ltd. was organised with great enthusiasm and grandeur.
On this occasion, Rajiv Rana, State Chairman of Unorganized Workers and Employees Congress (KKC) Himachal Pradesh and Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee, participated as a special guest.
In the programme, folk artists, cultural groups and young talents from different areas of the state gave captivating performances of traditional dances, songs and folk costumes, due to which the entire atmosphere was filled with Himachali colours.
In his address, Shri Rajiv Rana said
“Himachal’s culture is not just a tradition; it is a symbol of our soul and identity. Politics is meaningful only when cultural consciousness is alive in it. Culture is what gives birth to unity, balance, and direction in society.”
He said that such festivals not only promote folk arts but also provide new inspiration to the social and political thinking of the state. Thanking the organizers, Mr. Rana said, “The true identity of Himachal resides in the folk traditions of Kangra and Chamba, and their preservation is the foundation of a strong political future.”
The event was attended by numerous dignitaries, social activists, and artists, including Pandit Vishal Sharma, founder of Event Guru. Outstanding performers were honored in the closing session.
