Praising the work of All India Trade Union, INTUC, State Congress President MP Pratibha Singh has said that INTUC is playing a very important role in solving the problems of the laborers of the country. She said that today the condition of workers and laborers in the BJP government at the Center is pathetic. She said that the way the rising inflation and unemployment in the country have adversely affected the lives of the people, the lives of the middle class laborers and laborers have been affected the most.
Addressing the 33rd National Convention of INTUC at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi today, Pratibha Singh said that today the country’s economy is in a state of disarray. Lakhs of people of the country became unemployed during Covid. The Modi government at the center did not make any such plan and program for the upliftment of these affected people, which would lead to the upliftment of these educated people.
Pratibha Singh said that INTUC is a very important leading organization of Congress. He said that the Congress, always giving priority to the works of public interest, launched several schemes for the welfare of the poor and middle class families as well as the workers and laborers. She said that the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh is determined for the upliftment of this class. She said that whatever plan INTUC will give for the welfare of this class, Congress will ensure their welfare after considering it.
Pratibha Singh said that the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh has fulfilled its promise by implementing the old pension of the employees. She said that Congress will fulfill all its guarantees in a phased manner.
