International Women’s Day celebrated with great pomp in Peeran

International Women’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Peeran, the village panchayat headquarters of Junga tehsil. In which cultural programs and women empowerment were discussed in depth. Retired head Prakash Verma participated in this program as the chief guest. While the head of the village organization Bimla Verma and the head of the Mahila Mandal Anita Mehta were present as special guests.
Prakash Verma said in his address that in the present scenario, women are moving ahead of men in every field which is a matter of pride. He urged women to pay special attention to the education of daughters so that they can become self-reliant and serve the nation and society.
On this occasion, Bimla Verma advised women to become self-reliant. She said that the state and central government are running many welfare schemes to make women self-reliant, which women should take advantage of. Teacher Sushma Kumari conducted the stage very well with poetry.
On this occasion, former head Atar Singh Thakur, Udham Singh Thakur, Sheela Sharma along with a large number of women from self-help groups Chalog, Devthi, Nalta participated.
