Inauguration program of Hindi fortnight at SJVN Corporate Headquarters
Under the guidance of Shri Bhupendra Gupta , Chairman and Managing Director , SJVN , Hindi Fortnight was inaugurated today at Corporate Headquarters , Shimla . Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma , Director (Personnel) , SJVN was present as the Chief Guest in this program . He congratulated all the officers/employees present on Hindi Fortnight and highlighted the importance of Hindi Fortnight. Director (Personnel) also called upon all the employees to participate enthusiastically in the competitions organized during the fortnight.
On this occasion, Shri Sharma expressed his feelings towards the official language Hindi and said that language is the simplest medium of expression of thoughts. In a diverse India, Hindi language works to connect different cultures , communities and sects. Hindi is not just a language . It is the soul of our culture and civilization. Hindi is the third most spoken language in the world. It is a matter of pride for us that we are associated with such a language , which is establishing its identity at the global level as well.
Hindi fortnight will be organized till 28th September , 2025 , in which various competitions are being organized to promote Hindi among officers and employees in the project offices including SJVN Corporate Headquarters and to promote a healthy competitive spirit towards Hindi among them. During Hindi fortnight at Corporate Headquarters, competitions like pure word writing , dictation , poetry symposium and calligraphy etc. will be organized at the Corporation Headquarters .
On this occasion, Executive Director (HR) , Shri Chandrashekhar Yadav along with senior officers of various departments/sections of the Corporate Headquarters were also present. 60 officers/employees participated in the pure word writing competition organized during the Hindi fortnight.
