Impact of good teacher extends beyond classroom: Shiv Pratap Shukla

A National Educational Workshop was organized here today at Raj Bhawan under the aegis of Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal where Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla was present as the chief guest. The national and state-level award-winning teachers from Uttar Pradesh also participated in the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal was a national educational organization established in 1969. More than 5000 educational institutions were affiliated to it and it had more than 50 lakh members in the country. He expressed contentment that Shikshan Mandal was making its valuable contribution in nation-building through education and language research.
He said that education had always been a cornerstone of our society, shaping the minds and futures of generations. In our rapidly evolving world, it is imperative that we continuously strive to enhance our educational systems to meet the needs of students and the challenges of the future.

Shiv Pratap Shukla said that teachers were not merely instructors but also mentors, guides, and role models. The impact of a good teacher extends beyond the classroom, influencing the lives of students and, by extension, the future of our nation.
He said that in today’s digital age, education is undergoing a transformation. The integration of technology in education has opened new avenues for learning and teaching. It was crucial to balance technological advancements with the preservation of our rich cultural heritage and values. He added that Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal’s initiatives in promoting a curriculum that integrates modern education with traditional values were commendable and necessary.
The Governor urged them to embrace innovative teaching methodologies while nurturing the moral and ethical values that form the foundation of our society.
Earlier, the National President, the Basic Education Movement of India, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, briefed about the activities of the Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal. Secretary to the Governor Rajesh Sharma and other prominent educationists from Uttar Pradesh were also present on the occasion.
