If the deputation of the biology lecturer is not cancelled then there will be a protest

In the general meeting of the School Management Committee of PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School Koti held on Saturday, there was strong opposition to sending the Biology lecturer to Sanjauli on deputation. SMC President Kanchan Thakur said that the post of Biology lecturer was lying vacant in this school for the last eight months. SMC had done a lot of correspondence with the government and the education department to fill this post, due to which the government, along with ordering the Biology lecturer, also handed over the order for his deputation. SMC has given an ultimatum to the education department that if no lecturer is sent to this post within a week, then all the members of SMC will meet the Education Minister and Rural Development Minister. If even then their problem is not resolved, then the people of the entire area will be forced to protest.
Kanchan Thakur said that on 27th March, the biology lecturer joined this school and also went on deputation to Government Senior Secondary School Sanjauli. She said that the education department has played a big joke with the people of this area. She said that apart from this school, no other school in a radius of about 30 kilometers has science subject, due to which children from about six panchayats come to study in this school. Due to the absence of a biology lecturer, the studies of the children have been affected for the last eight months. Apart from this, the post of IT teacher has not been filled in the school till date. Similarly, a post of commerce subject is also vacant. Only one clerk’s post has been filled in the school, who has also been given the charge of Bharadia school.
Deputy Director Higher Education Shimla Lekh Raj said that this order has been made at the Directorate level and he has no role in it.
