He claimed that more than 1500 Indian students are trapped in Kharkhov. With increasing the shelling and attack students are in state of panic due to no availablity of Transport to get out of city.  The government should immediately direct the Ukrainian Embassy to be in constant touch with the students trapped in Kharkhov and other cities and make proper arrangements to provide them basic needs like food, water, medicines etc.  Efforts should be intensified to bring them back to India soon. Himachal Government should make sincere efforts to bring them back safely from the Ministry of External Affairs and try to take all possible steps through the embassy to the students who lack basic necessities there.  Because as the possibilities of prolonging the war are increasing, the students trapped there are also lacking resources and the trouble is increasing.CPM stands with these students and their families in this hour of crisis and hopes that both countries Russia and Ukraine will take initiative to end this war and resolve this dispute and crisis diplomatically through dialogue.
