HP police auctions commoundded vehicles

Police unit has auctioned about 48 old Vehicles ( 22 two – wheelers and 26 four – wheelers ) which were compounded by Shimla Police under various Sections  MV Act , IPC and Section 102 CrPC today.  After  following the due process these old Vehicles were sold to total sum of 14.32 lakhs .  Out of the total 48 vehicles , 32 vehicles were auctioned from Tara Devi Junk Yard for an amount of ₹ 11 lakhs and 16 vehicles from Kachhighati Junk Yard for Rs 03.32 lakhs .Large numbers of compounded Vehicles were parked on the road for last few years which would ease out the traffic due to auction police spokesperson said here today.
