Himalayan Tribe Foundation and Healing Himalayan conducted cleanliness campaign at Kinnaur Kailash Yatra

The Himalayan Tribe Foundation, in collaboration with the Healing Himalayan Institute, organized a clean-up campaign along the Kinnaur Kailash Yatra route. This annual initiative, which began on August 21st, aims to promote cleanliness and environmental responsibility among pilgrims.

The Kinnaur Kailash Organization Committee also supported the campaign. During the event, a significant amount of plastic waste was collected and transported to the Garbage Collection Center in Raksham. Around 30 to 35 young volunteers from the Himalayan Tribe Foundation actively participated in the clean-up efforts.

RP Yullam, the chief of the organization, emphasized the importance of minimizing plastic use during pilgrimages to maintain cleanliness. He urged pilgrims to be mindful of their waste and ensure proper disposal to preserve the sanctity and beauty of the pilgrimage routes.
