Himachal Winter Legislative session to take place in Tapovan, Dharamshala from 18 December
Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker, Kuldeep Singh Pathania, has announced that the winter session of the Legislative Assembly will take place in Tapovan, Dharamshala, from December 18 to 21, 2024. The session, which will span four meetings, will be the seventh session under the current government.
The Speaker confirmed that he has approved the government’s proposal to hold the session in Dharamshala and has forwarded it to the Governor for formal approval. Once authorized, an official notification will be issued. To ensure the event runs smoothly, Pathania mentioned that he has instructed the Kangra District Administration to begin preparations and will soon visit Dharamshala himself to oversee the arrangements.
These updates were shared by Pathania after returning from a 22-day educational and informative tour abroad. Upon his return to the Legislative Assembly Secretariat, he was warmly greeted by Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania, MLA Malendra Rajan, and the Secretariat staff.
Reflecting on his international trip, Pathania highlighted the valuable insights and experiences gained, which he plans to share in a press conference scheduled for tomorrow at 11:30 AM.
The upcoming winter session in Dharamshala is expected to address key issues and legislative matters of importance to the state.
