Himachal Six deaths and 2216 new Positive cases till Saturday night

Six people lost their lives due to the dreaded Corona Virus and 2,216 others were found positive in Himachal Pradesh by Saturday night, said a spokesman of the Health Department today. Besides, 1,986 older cases were also cured during the period.
He said that the number of active cases had risen to 17,295 and that of total confirmed cases to 2, 59,566 against 2, 38,316 cured cases.
The spokesman said that the total fatalities by Saturday night stood at 3,914 in the state.
Meanwhile, the work for the vaccination of young and aged people continued in the state. He said that total number of 68,019 people had been given precaution doses so far and that was a great achievement.
He appealed to the people to take proper care and save them from the Virus that was spreading fast all over the state.
