Himachal records eleven deaths and 1,766 new Corona positive cases on Monday

A record number of eleven person including five males and six females lost their lives due to the dreaded Corona virus in Himachal Pradesh on Monday. Those who lost their lives include five from Shimla, two each from Solan and Mandi and one each from the districts of Kangra, and Hamirpur respectively.
This is first time that people in such a large number have lost their lives in the state due to the virus that is still spreading its network across the state with full force.
A spokesman of the HP Health Department told UNI today that the number of active cases had come down as the number of those who were cured was 3,035 and that was much higher(1,766) than the new positive cases.
He said that the number of total fatalities in the state had reached the mark of 3,927.
Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed cases in the state stands at 2, 62,087 against 2, 42,589 cured cases.
He said that the maximum number of 269 cases was found in Solan. Next to Solan was Shimla with 255 cases, Kangra 252 cases, Mandi 251 cases, Una-183 cases, Bilaspur-139 cases, hamirpur, 105 cases, Sirmaur-102 cases, Kullu-92 cases, Kinnnaur-72 cases and Lahaul and Spiti-17 cases.
The spokesman appealed to the people to take adequate precautions and save them from the wrath of the virus.
