Himachal Pradesh Police recovered Rs 56.25 lacs of dirty drug money

On dated 02.02.2023, on the basis of information divulged from the accused, raid was conducted at Gaurav Jewellers shop, Pathankot and Himachal
Pradesh Police recovered Rs 56.25 lacs of dirty drug money. This money was deposited by accused Rohit with aforesaid jeweller for preparation of Gold ornaments.

Follow up action is being taken by the Police is pertinent to mention that on 01.02.2023, Nurpur Police had recovered 01 Kg 100 gram heroin / chitta, 100 Nos. tablets Alprazolam I.P. 0.5 mg and cash of Rs. 13,20,330/- from the possession of Vishal Kumar S/O Lakhwinder Singh R/O VPO Bhadroya, Tehsil Indora, Distt. Kangra and Rohit Kumar S/O Bua Das, R/O Khatib Dera Baba Nanak Road,Teh. Gurdaspur Punjab. Shri Sanjay Kundu, Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh has congratulated SP Nurpur and his team for successful recovery of huge heroin and cash etc.
