On Monday, Himachal Pradesh’s Republic Day tableau reminded the nation that this hill state is not only blessed with divine serenity but also defined by fearless patriotism.

Celebrated as Dev Bhoomi—the land of the Gods—Himachal proudly stands as Veer Bhoomi, the land of the brave. Its contribution to India’s military history is extraordinary: 1,203 gallantry award winners, including four Param Vir Chakras, two Ashok Chakras, and ten Maha Vir Chakras.

The tableau honored this indomitable spirit, paying tribute to the sons and daughters of Himachal who, shaped by the resilience of the mountains, have answered the nation’s call with courage and sacrifice.
