Himachal police confirms leaking of Constable recruitment question paper, FIR lodge and police probe panel constitute  

Himachal Pradesh Police which expected to provided relief from the increasing crime seemed to be victims of it in the hill  state as in last two years its recruitment drives came under the question mark itself , the recent paper leak of Written examination in the state left the state police in shock again as the FIR (No. 41/2022) was lodged yesterday under section  420  & 120 – B IPC at Police Station , Gaggal , District Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. Spokespersson of state police headquarter confirmed cheating in a press release issued here today that crime was committed by some candidates in the written examination of Police Constables .  ”   Keeping in view the sensitivity of this case, the Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh hasentrusted the investigation of this case State CID. Further the DGP – HP has constituted a Special Investigation Team ( SIT ) headed by Shri Madhusudan , DIG – CR Mandi , consisting of Shri Vimukat Ranjan , Commandant , 1st IRBn . Bangarh, Dr. Khushal Chand Sharma, OSP Kangra, Shri Rohit Malpani, SP CID – Cyber Crimes and Shri Virender Kalia, SP CID – Crime for the investigation of this case.” the press release stated. The SIT has been directed to take up the investigation of this case immediately and carry out professional and impartial investigation to ensure transparency .  An order issued by the state police DGP said that SIT has also been directed to investigate this case from financial involvement angle and update the Police Headquarters with regard to the progress of investigation periodically. Order said that FIR has lodged about the cheating by some candidates in the written examination of Police Constables .The SIT probe this case  to bring this case to a logical conclusion and investigation of this case is required to be conducted in a fair and transparent manner. The case would be investigate by the State CID with immediate effect to nab culprites. A  SIT consisting of the  DIG central range Madhusudan(Chief of SIT – Member – 1  ),  Vimukat Ranjan , Commandent 1st IRBn , Bangarh ) Dr. Khushal Chand Sharma, SP Kangra – Member,  Rohit Malpani, SP Cyber Crimes. ad  Virender Kalia, SP CID – Crime as Member . The Terms of Reference ( TOR ) of the SIT would be  take up the investigation of the above mentioned case immediately and will carry out professional and impartial investigation to ensure transparency in the investigation of the Chief of the SIT will direct the investigation in professional way without loss of time.
