Himachal notify relaxation in Covid restrictions

Taking note of the improvement in present situation of COVID – 19 and gradual decrease in positivity rate and hospitalization, State Administration issued notification here today lifted Covid restrictions opening all Educational Institutions, Gyms, Cinema Halls , religious and political congregation and public kitchen and lungars etc.
A notification issued Chief Secretary Mr Ram Subhag Singh who is Chairman of State Executive Committee allowed to function all Educational Institutions,  Cinema Halls , Multiplex , Stadiums and Swimming Pools as per normal schedule with effect from Feb  17, 2022 with adherence to COVID – 19 safety protocols.
There shall be no exemptions for the persons with disability and pregnant women employees and they shall attend their offices in regular manner.  
There shall be no restrictions on religious langars subject to strict adherence to the COVID – 19 appropriate behavior and safety protocols.  
 All social, religious, cultural, political and other congregations including marriages are permitted up to 50 per cent of the capacity in indoor built up or covered areas as well as in open spaces or outdoor areas . 
 There shall be strict observance of COVID – 19 appropriate behavior and safety protocols during these congregations or gatherings. 
 All the Departments and Organizations of the Government , District Magistrates , Police Officers or Officials and Local Authorities of the State are directed to ensure strict compliance with the directions. 
 Notification also cautioned the public that any  violation of these measures or not following COVID appropriate behavior would be liable to be proceeded against as per the provision of Section 51-60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, Section 188 of the IPC , and  other legal provisions.
 This Order would come into effect immediately and shall remain in force till further order.
