Himachal Govt has made public services easy and convenient through digital innovations: Gokul Butail

Gokul Butail, Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister (Innovation, Digital Technology and Governance), said that the state government is committed to providing easy facilities to the people of the state and in this direction, proper use of innovation and digital technology is being ensured. Gokul Butail was addressing a program organized by Sood Sabha Chandigarh on the occasion of the 62nd Sood Milan Diwas held in Chandigarh today.
Gokul Butel praised the Sabha’s efforts to provide regular financial assistance to the needy and widows, provide educational materials to students, and assist those seeking medical care. Since 1959, the Sood Sabha has been actively involved in humanitarian activities.
The Principal Advisor stated that digital services have been launched in Himachal Pradesh to facilitate essential tasks and save time. Residents are now able to access most services online, enabling them to complete most essential tasks from home. He added that people in the state no longer have to visit offices to obtain learner driving licenses; this work is now easily accomplished online.
Gokul Butail stated that digitization and e-filing are being promoted in government work in Himachal Pradesh for public convenience. The paperless registration system, “My Deed,” has been launched in Himachal Pradesh. He added that Himachal Pradesh has become the first state in the country to implement “My Deed.” The My Deed portal provides people with a wide range of services with just one click.
On this occasion, he announced to provide Rs 1 lakh to Sood Sabha Chandigarh.
On this occasion, Gokul Butail also gave detailed information about the efforts being made by the Himachal Pradesh Government to improve the economic condition of the state.
He said that his family has been involved in social service for many years. His grandfather, the late Kanhaiya Lal Butail, established Himachal Pradesh’s first women’s charitable college in Palampur, Kangra district, in 1962.
On this occasion, Sood Sabha Chandigarh President Ashwani Sood, General Secretary Sudhir Sood, Finance Secretary Khushwinder Sood, Patron V.K. Sood, Ashwani Dogar, Shashi Sood, Umesh Sood, Joint Secretary Finance Lokesh Sood, other office bearers, executive committee members and a large number of Sood Sabha members were present.
