Himachal got a big gift of railways, stoppage of two trains: Anurag Thakur

After two visit of PM to Himachal big Bonaza at last announced for Himachal Pradesh. Una got the gift of train stoppages of Churudh- Takarala and Raimehatpur stations.

Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Sports and Youth Affairs, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, while expressing gratitude to the Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwani Vaishnav ji for increasing the two stoppages of two trains in Himachal Pradesh, for promoting employment and tourism in Himachal Pradesh.

Anurag Thakur said, “It has been my constant endeavor to strengthen rail connectivity in Devbhoomi Himachal and in this direction, in the past, I have asked Railway Minister Shri Ashwani Vaishnav ji to stop the Ambala Cantt-Daulatpur Chowk Passenger Special train at Churadu Takarala station.
Approval of stoppage of Saharanpur-Una Himachal Passenger Express at Raimehatpur was requested. Taking a quick decision on this, Hon’ble Railway Minister, Ambala Cantt-Daulatpur Chowk Passenger Special train at Churudu-Takarla station and another train.
The Saharanpur – Una Himachal Passenger Express has been given its approval for stoppage at Raimehatpur. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Railway Minister for this quick decision taken by him in public interest and also congratulate the people of the area for this great gift.

Speaking further, Shri Anurag Thakur said, “This approval will boost employment and tourism in Himachal and it will provide great convenience to the travelers. This stoppage will play an important role in reducing the problems faced by the people of both the districts while traveling.
Let us inform that on the demand of the train people, Union Minister Anurag Thakur talked about the stoppage with the Ministry of Railways, on which the Railway Minister has given consent and made an administrative announcement to stop at the respective stations on a pilot basis for the next six months.
