Himachal Digital News Web Portal Organization representatives today met Naresh Chauhan, Principal Media Advisor to CM
A delegation from the Himachal Pradesh Digital News Web Portal Organization today met with the Chief Minister’s Principal Media Advisor, Naresh Chauhan. During the meeting, editors of news web portals associated with the Himachal Pradesh Public Relations Department were also present.
On this occasion, the delegation apprised the Principal Media Advisor about the challenges faced by news and portal editors. The delegation also submitted a memorandum to Naresh Chauhan, primarily urging the accreditation of news and portal editors and regular government advertisements.
Naresh Chauhan assured the delegation that the state government would extend all possible support to the editors of news portals. He mentioned that he would personally discuss the matter with the Chief Minister and that a decision on their demands would be taken soon.
Later, the delegation also presented a copy of the memorandum to the Director of the Information and Public Relations Department, Himachal Pradesh, who also assured prompt action on these demands from the government’s side.
Present on the occasion were news web portal editors, including Mrs. Parinita Sharma, Deepika Sharma, Jagmohan Sharma, Kailash Verma, and Vivek Sud.
